Immunology is a diverse and growing discipline that can be defined as the study of the tissues, cells and molecules involved in host defence mechanisms. Integrative Immunobiology and Inflammation is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes papers of the highest quality and significance in all areas of experimental immunology, i.e., primary immune deficiency, innate and adaptive immunity, inflammation, host defense, vaccination, immunodysregulation, clinical immunology, Human Immunology, immunologic interventions, autoimmunity, diagnosis to immunologically mediated diseases and more.

Aim and Scope

The aim of the journal is to monitor advances in the various fields of immunology, and bring together the results in a readable and lucid form by publishing the experimental and theoretical studies from all areas of immunology and includes research conducted in laboratories throughout the world. Integrative Immunobiology and Inflammation publishes articles on basic, translational, and clinical studies in all aspects of immunology, including animal models of human diseases. The essential criteria for publication will be clarity, experimental soundness and novelty. Results contradictory to current accepted thinking or ideas divergent from actual dogmas will be considered for publication provided that they are based on solid experimental findings.

The scope of the journal encompasses the broad area of in vitro and in vivo studies of Immunology. The journal mainly focuses on following topics, but are not limited to: Immunity, Immune cells and organs, Antigens, Antibodies and Reactions, Innate and Adaptive Immunity, Cytokines and Chemokines, Ageing, Allergy, Immune Response, Inflammation, Vaccines, HIV/AIDS, Autoimmunity, Tumor Immunology, Immunotherapy, Inflammatory disorders, Molecular mediators, Immunopharmcology, Immunotoxicology, Immunopathogenesis, Adjuvants and immunomodulators, Cellular immunology, Molecular and Structural Immunology, Immunogenetics, Transplantation immunology, Resistance to intracellular microbial and viral infection; Thymus and lymphocyte immunobiology, Host Defense, Immune receptors, signaling and apoptosis, Protein crystallography, Plasmon resonance, In silico modeling, Knockout and knock-in studies.
