Vol 6, No 1 (2020): Articles in Press
Cancer is characterized by disordered and deregulated cellular and stromal proliferation accompanied by reduced cell death with the ability to survive under stresses of nutrient and growth factor deprivation, hypoxia, and loss of cell-to-cell contacts. At the molecular level, cancer is a genetic disease that develops due to the accumulation of mutations over time in somatic cells. Cancer work is allied to biological experiments where cells are grown in vitro, in two- or three-dimensional systems. Journal of Cancer Biology and Therapeutics publishes articles on all aspects of cancer cell biology and Preclinical and clinical studies of metabolism-related cancer therapies and also considers manuscripts that include animal work (in vivo) only if the work is a logical progression from previous work in vitro.
Aim and Scope
Journal of Cancer Biology and Therapeutics aim is to promote the exchange of ideas and concepts across the entire cancer community, cultivating new areas of basic research and clinical investigation by publishing the articles of novel results in any area of cancer research, from molecular and cellular biology to clinical oncology. The journal provides most authentic and complete source of information on current developments in field of cancer that include novel concepts, new methods, new regimens, new therapeutic agents, and alternative approaches for early detection and intervention of cancer.
The journal focuses on following topics, but are not limited to: carcinogenesis, Cancer cell biology, Cancer genetics, Infectious causes of cancer, Tumor immunology, Early detection and diagnosis, Epidemiology, Cancer therapy, Tumor and stem cell biology, Oncogenes, Cytogenetics, Molecular basis of cancer, Cancer genetics, Metastasis, Homeostasis, Cancer epidemiology, Mutagenesis, Molecular targets, Stem cell and regenerative medicine, Anti-cancer drugs, All types of cancer, Cancer pathophysiology, Cancer biomarkers and Carcinogenic viruses.
